ERASur: Who is eligible to join?

Patients are eligible to join if they:

  1. Are 18 years and older and have been diagnosed with metastatic colorectal adenocarcinoma
  2. Have an ECOG performance status of 0, 1, or 2
  3. Have a primary tumor that has already been surgically removed or is eligible for surgical removal
  4. Have 4 or fewer sites of metastatic disease prior to treatment (single sites include: each side of the liver (right and left), each lobe of the lungs, each adrenal gland, lymph nodes treatable with a single surgery or in a single radiation field, or bone metastases treatable in a single radiation field)
  5. Can have received up to 6 months of first-line chemotherapy and at least one site is visible on restaging imaging at the time of evaluation for the trial.
  6. For patients with earlier stage disease (I-III) who develop limited metastatic disease, they need to have completed all therapy at least 12 months prior to the diagnosis of metastatic disease to be eligible.
  7. Have blood, liver, and kidney function tests within certain limits

Patients are ineligible to join the trial if they:

  • Have liver-only metastatic disease
  • Have a known microsatellite unstable (MSI-H) tumor
  • Have a known BRAF V600E mutation
  • Have known peritoneal or omental metastases
  • Have progressive disease during first-line chemotherapy
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
