COMMIT: Who is eligible to join?

Patients are eligible to join if they:

  1. Are 18 years and older and have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer that has spread to parts of the body away from the primary tumor site
  2. Have tumors with confirmed deficient DNA mismatch repair (dMMR) or high levels of microsatellite instability (MSI-H)

Patients are not eligible for the COMMIT trial if they:

  • Have been previously treated with any systemic therapy for metastatic disease
  • Have a history of significant lung or heart disease
  • Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or plan to become pregnant during the study or 5 months after the last dose of Atezolizumab during the study
  • Have had prior treatment with oxaliplatin chemotherapy within 6 months prior to randomization
